Paula regularly visits regional quilting groups to present on her business and design process. If you are a group and would like to find out more, contact Paula using the above methods. Paula can cater her talk to short or lengthier time slots and if requested to set up a sales table, will offer special discounts to group members for purchase at the time.
As a graduate in textile design and now an educator in the subject, Paula shares her insight and experiences of being an independent designer, explains the often challenging technical aspects of production and demonstrates her creative process with practical examples. Her presentation offers a unique glimpse into behind-the-scenes fabric printing and tells the story of how our fabrics are lovingly created and brought to the marketplace.

Reversible Nesting Baskets

This workshop provides an opportunity to learn how to make three nesting baskets, with limitless storage and decoration uses. We will show you how to create the baskets and then demonstrate different techniques for incorporating patchwork, appliqué, doodle free-machine embroidery and hand embroidery. Once you have mastered the basic techniques the possibilities are endless.
Please bring: sewing machine, extension lead, minimum 4 fat quarters of assorted fabrics and basic sewing kit
Provided on site: accessory materials to create the baskets, work templates and irons. Extra fabric from Paula Ozier Designs will also be available for sale on site.
